The Jetty Point at Kuah is about 27 km from Tengah Beach. It is the access point for/from Penang, Kuala Kedah and Kuala Perlis of Malaysia and Satun of Thailand. Ferry to/from Ko Lipe, Thailand departs/arrives at Telaga Harbour .

Ferry departs from Kuala Kedah and Kuala Perlis - on the north of western coast of Peninsular Malaysia from 630 am to 7 pm daily - to Jetty Point.

From Kuala Perlis , it takes 45 minutes to 1 hour to reach Langkawi. Adult rate : RM15.00 Chidlren rate : RM10.00

From Kuala Kedah , it takes 1 hour - 1 1/2 hours to reach here. Adult rate : RM18.00 Children rate : RM10.00

Ferry from Penang leaves at 815 am and 830 am and takes 2 1/2 hours to 3 hours to Jetty Point. Adult rate : RM50.00 Children rate : RM35.00

Ferry from Satun (Thailand) arrives 4 times a day to Jetty Point from 945  am (first trip)  to 5 pm (last trip) while from Ko Lipe to Telaga Harbour departs at 730 pm - every alternate day. Both take 1 hour. From Satun, adult rate B270 and children rate B200. 

None of them can be booked in advance except more than a day before except for Penang/Langkawi and Ko Lipe/Langkawi routes.
