Literaly translated as Sandy Skull Beach, the locals believe that once upon a time there was a bloody battle between the local and the invaders (Thais) for the possesion of this part of Langkawi. The water here just like Datai Beach can be crystal clear water but this really depends on the calmness of the sea and the direction of the wind blows. This beach is popular among the locals as picnic/barbeque area - resulting the monkeys here to be "too" pampered by the leftover food. They can be aggresive once they see human with plastic bags. |
