Asia's first fully covered walkway bird park is now home to over 2,500 birds with over 150 exotic species. Encounter the world's most beautiful birds like cockatoo, myna, toucan, hornbill and rhea. Stroll along the park pond and see flamingos and swans swimming amidst the traquil ambiance. Formerly known as Langkawi Bird Park, it has been reincarnated as the Langkawi Wildlife Park. The makeover has increased the exhibition area on the left and the rear portion of the main showcase area.
The new extension on the left accommates a selection of other species of wildlife animals. A walk-through parakeet house with hundreds of colourful birds are among the latest attractions. The Macaw Courtyard, Flamingo Pond and clever impersonations of the cockatoo and mynah are just a few of many attractions that will amaze you here. Meanwhile, the rear portion houses a huge display of rare crafted and raw crystals from Brazil and China. You can spend hours in this area going through the dazzling array of crystal ornaments and art objects, which are for sale. |
