 A beautiful parkland with an undulating setting is home to a collection of venomous and non-venomous snakes from all over the world. Spacius terrariums are located at various parts of the parkland along well defined paths for close public viewing of the snakes. An Interactive Centre occupies a major portion of the site.
 The Snake Sanctuary has Interactive Centre with :
- An auditorium for multimedia presentations
- Touch and Feel sessions with non-venomous species
- An exhibition foyer for the displays of skeletons, skins and general anatomy of snakes and their habitat
The main attraction is the Amphitheatre with 100 seatings capacity. Live performance daily staged here to show the characteristics of chosen deadliest snakes known to human being including copperhead vipers, king cobra and phytons. Another interesting area that should not to be missed would be Recuperative Area. This area is designed to monitor the health and general well-being of the snakes, for venom extraction and to conduct research. |
