Langkawi is a heaven for yachties. At least five moorings locations are available. three of which are full-fledges marinas with modern international class facilities. The marinas at the Royal Langkawi Yacht Club and Rebak Marina on the island of Rebak Besar have made their presence felt for quite sometime. Rebak Marina has been expanded and now has a range of repair facilities as well as dry dock. It is a safe place to leave the boat while visiting Langkawi.

It is situated within walking distance from Kuah Jetty, is an exclusive establishment with a beautiful clubhouse. There is also a fully equipped marina comprising 51 berths that can accommodate a variety of vessels, including sailing keels, deep hull boats and even  60 meters mega yachts. The club offers impressive facilities such as a waterfront swimming pool, jacuzzi, and sauna, deep-sea fishing, sailing, scuba diving, jet-skiing and speedboats, and yacht chartering service.

For diners, it is the perfect place to enjoy a long cool drink and a delightful meal in relaxing surrounding. Breathtaking views of Langkawi's beautiful islands and sunset can be enjoued from its beachfront restaurant called Charlie's Place or from the Captain's Deck - its fine dining restaurant. The above facilities are open for public. RLYC is also the organiser of the annual Royal Langkawi International Regatta .

The harbour has an array of facilities such as Petronas Quay - for fuel and bunkering service - and Perdana Quay, custom house, harbour office, and the headland watchtower. There are bank and business centre with internet access. A basin area of 27 acres was created and designed for public berthing of crafts of various sizes. A number of berths are allocated for term lease or tenancy.

The harbour is noted for its Mediterranian architecture and as terminal for ocean-going cruise ship, features a hotel, restaurants and shop lining the waterfront as well as a small marina. Several sailing and boating charters operate from the marina and sunset cruise around nearby islands are particularly popular.

Langkasuka Boat Club

This club has moorings for hire inside a large breakwater just off Langkasuka. They have a dinghy pontoon and a cold water open air shower plus toilets at the club rooms.
